This is a collaborative project from Swiss producer/dj Perlair and Soweto vocalist/rapper Kobayashi ( South Africa ). The two first met while working at a festival in Switzerland.

They decided to collaborate and experiment to try and create sounds that would connect globally but with a heavy African resonance. From opposite sides of the world the duo kept reworking their ideas for two years.

Perlair provided the thick bass electronic concoctions for Kobayashi to unleash his infectious township Zulu raps and chants that focus on social commentary.

An EP is on the cards but these two tracks Bamboo and Izinto are a fitting precursor. The two sonic shamans are delving into other dimensions and vibrations while paying homage to one of Africa’s guides. It is with the utmost pleasure to finally share with you.
